HIV Program

The TrueNorth HIV program offers assessment and treatment for people living with HIV/AIDS. We have a highly experienced and dedicated group of staff to work with our HIV positive clients and their loved ones. Our staff works hard to ensure that our clients have access to the latest research and the best possible treatments available.

TrueNorth's Growing Group of Services

Our HIV services are offered as part of Dr. Cavacuiti's weekly "Complex Medication Clinic". This is the time Dr. Cavacuiti has set aside for the assessment and treatment of patients with a wide variety of "complex medication" needs (including patients with HIV, Hep C, etc.)

One of the benefits of integrating our specialized HIV services into this "Complex Medication Clinic" is that it ensures that we can maintain patient privacy when it comes to the HIV and other medical diagnoses.

Dr. Cavacuiti has over 20 years of experience as an HIV primary care physician at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver, St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto, Casey House, and TrueNorth.

Hepatitis
C Program

The TrueNorth Hepatitis C program offers assessment and treatment for people living with Hepatitis C. We have a highly experienced and dedicated group of staff to work with our Hepatitis C clients and their loved ones. We work hard to ensure that our clients have access to the latest research and the best possible treatments available.

TrueNorth's Growing Group of Services

Dr. Cavacuiti completed a Hepatitis C clinical fellowship in 2002. He offers Hepatitis C treatment as part of his weekly "Complex Medication Clinic". This is the time Dr. Cavacuiti has set aside for the assessment and treatment of patients with a wide variety of "complex medication" needs (including patients with HIV, Hep C, etc.)

One of the benefits of integrating our specialized Hepatitis C services into this "Complex Medication Clinic" is that it ensures that we can maintain patient privacy when it comes to the Hepatitis and other medical diagnoses. It also ensures that we can bring in the specialized resources necessary (fibroscan etc.) for these programs.
